WHSmith wins Perth Airport Terminal 4 tender and announces plans to open a next generation travel essentials store format and first InMotion store
WHSmith are delighted to announce the expansion of our Australian operations, having been successful in our tender for Perth Airport Terminal 4.
The first half 2019 will see us opening two brand new stores.
The first will be an InMotionstore,a highly successful pure play travel retailer, which was acquired in 2018 by WHSmith. InMotion is the largest airport-based digital accessories retailer in North America, andthe planned launch of the first InMotion store outside of North America marks an exciting retail proposition for WHSmithand Perth Airport. Offering a specialised shopping experience, customers will be able to enjoy the extensive and dedicated range of the latest headphones, power and technology accessories for their journey.
The second store will be a WHSmith next generation travel essentials store, showcasing WHSmith’s latest design and layout, including a Long Shot café and bar. The store will provide a compelling offer to customers, including a wide range of over 4,000 books in the bookshop zone, magazines, travel accessories, confectionery, fresh food and drinks, with a design inspired by the striking imagery of Western Australia.
