What do I need to do with the Wild Rewards Cards?

•          A customer will be offered and provided with a Wild Rewards Card with an associated Loyalty Card number.  The Wild Rewards Card can be activated in store. The Wild Rewards Card is given to the customer.

•          When a Wild Rewards Card is applied to a sale, there will be a validation check to ensure the card is activated. If not activated, the staff member in store will receive a notification that the card is not activated, and this transaction will activate the card.

•          An activated Wild Rewards Card in store, can be used to record transactions and accrue loyalty points immediately.

•          Customers will be required to complete a Wild Rewards Membership registration Sign up prior to being able to redeem Wild Rewards reward/vouchers.

•          Sign up to the Wild Rewards Membership will be completed in store.

•          A customer can have only one ‘Active’ Wild Rewards card (based on the Loyalty Card number & Contact ID created in the Wild Cards & Gifts store system).

•          In store, the customer can be searched for using last name, mobile number or email address, and if required, a new (inactive) card can be associated by scanning the new card.  The old will then become inactive, and the new card will become active.

How does earning points work?

Wild Rewards may be earned on any eligible transaction made in a Wild Cards & Gifts store, in one transaction after all discounts, exchanges, refunds and redemptions are applied.

You can redeem rewards by visiting a Wild Cards & Gifts store and presenting your Wild Rewards card to a Wild Cards & Gifts store staff member.

          $1 dollar spent = 1 point.

•          Point Value = 0.05c

•          Customers will be required to complete a Wild Rewards Membership registration Sign up prior to being able to redeem Wild Rewards reward/vouchers.

•          Every time a customer earns 100 points, they earn a $5 reward/voucher, e.g. Spend $100 and get a $5 reward/voucher. Spend $200 and get two $5 reward/vouchers.

•          The customer’s points are deducted 100 points at the time the $5 reward/voucher is created.

•          Any extra points earnt over 100 are kept. For example, a customer spends $150 in one purchase and as such has 150 points, 100 points are deducted at the time the reward is created, and the 50 points balance accumulates towards the next reward/voucher.

•          Points can be earned on cash or eftpos transactions, and on purchasing a Gift Voucher.

•          Points cannot be earned on any Gift Voucher redemption or on credit notes.

•          Layby points will be earned at completion of layby.

•          In store promotions may apply additional points earned on the purchase of specific products, or during specific time periods. These will be communicated in store via point of sale and staff.

•          There is no timeframe in which the points must be earned.

•          The points balance for a Wild Rewards member can go down to 0 but cannot go into negative.

How does redeeming rewards points work?

•          Loyalty vouchers can be redeemed at any Wild store.

•          There is no minimum spend on redeeming vouchers, however if a customer purchase amount is less than a reward voucher amount, the remaining difference will be forfeited.  E.g. If a customer has a $9.00 purchase and chooses to use two $5 Vouchers, the change will be forfeited.

•          When the customer scans their loyalty card during a transaction, the POS user will be prompted that the customer has one or more rewards vouchers available.  The customer can choose when they would like to redeem each individual rewards voucher (i.e. the staff member using the in-store system will have the ability to determine whether a rewards voucher is applied to the sale).

•          Multiple rewards can be redeemed per day (e.g. across multiple transactions).

•          Rewards do not have an expiry date.

•          A customer can be searched for using last name, mobile number or email address, and a point balance and point/transaction history can be displayed to staff member using the in-store system.

What do I complete a Wild Rewards Membership registration?

Sign up to the Wild Rewards Membership will be by in store using an issued Wild Rewards card.

Wild Rewards Membership registration Sign up:

•          A customer receives a Loyalty Card in store and can begin using it to record transactions and accrue loyalty points immediately.

•          Customers will be required to complete a Wild Rewards Membership registration Sign up prior to being able to redeem Wild Rewards reward/vouchers.

•          A customer can then provide details in store

Wild Rewards/Voucher Notification:

On Customer Receipt:

•          Wild Cards & Gifts will Display the loyalty points balance on the customer receipt.  The Wild Rewards points balance will be displayed as “Wild Rewards Points as at dd/mm/yyyy,

•          Promotions including extra Wild Rewards points can show the number of points.

•          The points balance is calculated through a daily job which runs early morning, therefore the points balance on the receipt is not current point balance but as at previous day.

•          The points balance is updated nightly (whereby dd/mm/yyyy will be the previous day’s date, not the current date).

Automated customer emails:

•          Wild Cards & Gifts will email customers to notify them of their current Wild Rewards points balance. This will be quarterly, however can be configured to be a different interval.

•          Customer notification of reward vouchers is via email, with no vouchers attached. 

In Store:

•          The Wild Cards & Gifts staff member, using the in-store system to complete a transaction using a Wild Rewards card, will get notified that the customer has an active loyalty reward/voucher and will ask if they wish to apply it to the sale.

How are returns managed for a Wild Rewards Member?

Returns will be managed as follows:

•          Where a receipt is presented:

o          Decrement the Wild Rewards card points by the amount of sale AND the additional promotional bonus points

o          For a partial return (e.g. one item from a sale with multiple items), decrement the Wild Rewards card points by the amount of the partial return (e.g. the one item), and NOT the overall sale amount, and NOT any bonus points gained when the promotion is of full spend (i.e. order total).

o          Refund of transactions that included Wild Rewards points will only be in the form of a credit voucher or exchange.

•          For a manual return (i.e. no receipt)

o          Decrement the loyalty card points by the amount of the sale (NO promotion points to be deducted)

•          The points balance for a Wild Rewards member can go down to 0 but cannot go into negative.
